Ingredients
  

For the Muffins:
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
For the Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sugar for sprinkling

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line muffin tin.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding flour and buttermilk.
  5. Fold in blueberries.
  6. Fill cups nearly to top. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden.
