  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup milk or buttermilk
Optional Add-ins:
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • Extra banana slices for topping

Method
 

  1. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix bananas, butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  3. Stir wet and dry ingredients together gently until a thick batter forms.
  4. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F until golden and set.
  5. Cool, slice, and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
