Ingredients
  

For the Filling:
  • 12 cooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Sauce and Topping:
  • 3 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles until al dente.
  2. Mix ricotta, egg, cheeses, parsley, and sausage.
  3. Spread filling on noodles, roll up, and place seam-side down.
  4. Cover with marinara, top with cheese, and bake at 375°F for 35 minutes.
  5. Garnish with basil and serve warm.
