Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:
  • 4 chicken thighs skin on bone in
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning dried thyme and oregano
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For the Sauce:
  • 5 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 6 oz white mushrooms sliced
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Season chicken thighs well.
  2. Brown chicken until skin turns golden.
  3. Cook bacon and mushrooms in the same skillet.
  4. Add cream and thyme then simmer.
  5. Return chicken and cook until tender.
