Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • Salt
  • Black peppe
  • ¾ cup cornstarch
  • 3 eggs whisked
  • 1 cup vegetable oil plus more if needed
For the Sauce:
  • ¾ cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder optional
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Method
 

  1. Chicken gets coated in cornstarch and egg.
  2. Pieces get fried until golden and crisp.
  3. Sauce ingredients get simmered until smooth.
  4. Chicken gets tossed in sauce and served hot.
