Ingredients
  

For the Ground Beef & Peppers:
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 bell peppers mixed colors, sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil optional
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
For Serving:
  • 3 cups cooked white rice or jasmine rice
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef until slightly crispy.
  2. Stir fry peppers, onions, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Whisk the sauce ingredients and pour over the mixture.
  4. Simmer until glossy and thickened.
  5. Serve over rice and garnish with toppings.
