Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich Base:
  • 4 slices whole grain or sourdough bread
  • ½ cup hummus classic, roasted red pepper, or garlic flavor
  • 1 large ripe avocado sliced or mashed
Fresh Veggie Layers:
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • ½ cucumber thinly sliced
  • ½ red onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup sprouts alfalfa, radish, or broccoli sprouts
  • Handful of fresh spinach or lettuce leaves
Optional Add-ins:
  • A squeeze of lemon juice on the avocado
  • Everything bagel seasoning or chili flakes for extra flavor
  • Pickled jalapeños for spice
  • Roasted red peppers for smoky depth
To Finish:
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil drizzle optional

Method
 

  1. Toast or prepare bread.
  2. Spread hummus generously on both slices.
  3. Layer avocado, tomato, cucumber, onion, sprouts, and spinach.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Close, cut, and enjoy fresh.
