  • 1 cup pineapple chunks fresh or frozen
  • 1 large orange peeled and segmented
  • 1 banana for creaminess
  • ½ cup yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • ½ to 1 cup orange juice or coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ cup ice cubes
Optional Add-ins:
  • Chia seeds for texture
  • Fresh mint leaves for a cooling touch
  • A small piece of ginger for extra flavor
  • Protein powder for a more filling drink

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Fruits: Start by peeling the orange and removing any seeds. Cut the pineapple into chunks if using fresh, and slice the banana so everything blends easily.
  2. Add to Blender: Place the pineapple, orange segments, banana, and yogurt into the blender. Pour in the orange juice or coconut water slowly to help everything blend smoothly.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Turn the blender on high and let it run for about a minute. The mixture should turn into a bright, smooth drink with no chunks left behind.
  4. Adjust the Consistency: Check how thick it feels and add a bit more liquid if needed. Add ice cubes if you want it colder and slightly thicker.
  5. Taste and Balance: Take a quick sip and adjust sweetness if needed. Add honey or maple syrup, then blend again briefly to mix everything well.
  6. Serve Fresh: Pour into a glass and enjoy right away. The flavor tastes best when it is fresh and nicely chilled.
