Ingredients
  

For the Beef and Sauce:
  • 1 lb flank steak sliced thin against the grain
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 green onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. Slice beef thin and coat with cornstarch.
  2. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vinegar.
  3. Cook beef in hot oil until lightly crisp.
  4. Simmer sauce, return beef, toss until coated, and serve.
