Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Wings:
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Aji Verde Sauce:
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro packed
  • 2 jalapeños seeds removed for mild heat
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
Optional Toppings:
  • Extra chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges
  • Grated parmesan
  • Crushed red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Season chicken wings and bake until crispy.
  2. Blend cilantro, jalapeños, garlic, mayo, sour cream, parmesan, and lime into a smooth Aji Verde sauce.
  3. Toss baked wings in the sauce until coated.
  4. Garnish with cilantro, parmesan, and lime wedges.
