Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Stir Fry
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey optional for sweetness
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • ¼ cup chicken broth or water
For Serving
  • 2 cups steamed jasmine or basmati rice
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
  • Lime wedges optional

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Whisk together garlic sauce ingredients.
  3. Stir fry chicken until golden; remove and set aside.
  4. Cook onions, garlic, ginger, and peppers until crisp-tender.
  5. Return chicken, pour sauce, and stir until glossy and thick.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice and garnish with herbs.
