Method
- Sauté onions, carrots, and celery; add to slow cooker with chicken, broth, and seasonings.
- Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Mix flour and cream to thicken; shred chicken.
- Drop dumpling dough on top, cook 25–30 minutes more.
- Serve warm with herbs or bread.
