Ingredients
  

For the Bread:
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Optional Add-ins:
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy; add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Mix in mashed bananas and sour cream.
  5. Fold in dry ingredients.
  6. Layer batter and cinnamon sugar swirl; gently swirl.
  7. Bake 60–70 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before slicing and serving.
