Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread Batter:
  • 3 very ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Optional Add-ins:
  • Chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • Chocolate chips
  • A drizzle of honey or maple syrup for serving

Method
 

  1. Mash bananas and stir in butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Fold in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until just combined.
  3. Layer half the batter in a pan, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, top with remaining batter, swirl.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool, slice, and enjoy with butter, honey, or a favorite spread.
