Ingredients
  

For the Sliders:
  • 12 soft slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 ½ lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha adjust for spice level
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds optional
For the Cabbage Slaw:
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Sriracha Mayo:
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp lime juice
Optional Toppings:
  • Pickled jalapeños
  • Pineapple slices
  • Pepper Jack cheese
  • Extra teriyaki glaze

Method
 

  1. Cook and slice the chicken.
  2. Make teriyaki glaze, toss chicken in sauce.
  3. Mix cabbage slaw and make sriracha mayo.
  4. Assemble sliders with sauce, slaw, and chicken.
  5. Garnish and serve hot.
