For the sauce:

mixed with 2 tablespoons water
For the veggies:

red bell pepper
chopped

green bell pepper

fresh or canned, drained
Method
Season, coat with cornstarch, egg, and flour.
Cook in hot oil 4–5 minutes until golden.
Simmer ketchup, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce; thicken with cornstarch slurry.
Toss chicken, peppers, pineapple in sauce; serve hot.
