Ingredients
  

For the Smoothie:
  • 2 cups ripe cantaloupe chunks
  • 1 banana for creaminess
  • ½ cup yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • ½ to 1 cup milk or coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ cup ice cubes
Optional Add-ins:
  • Fresh mint leaves for a cooling taste
  • Chia seeds for texture
  • A squeeze of lime or lemon for brightness
  • A small piece of ginger for a light kick

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Melon: Start by cutting the cantaloupe in half and removing the seeds. Slice off the peel and cut the flesh into small chunks so it blends easily.
  2. Get Other Ingredients Ready: Peel the banana and measure your yogurt and liquid. Keeping ingredients slightly chilled helps create a cooler smoothie.
  3. Add to Blender: Place the cantaloupe chunks, banana, yogurt, and liquid into the blender. Pour the liquid slowly so everything blends smoothly.
  4. Blend Until Smooth: Turn the blender on high speed and let it run for about a minute. The mixture should become silky and evenly blended with no chunks left.
  5. Adjust Consistency: Check how thick it feels and add more liquid if needed. Add ice cubes if you want a colder and slightly thicker finish.
  6. Taste and Balance: Take a quick sip and adjust sweetness if needed. Add honey or a squeeze of lime, then blend again briefly to mix everything well.
  7. Serve Fresh: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. The flavor feels best when it is fresh and nicely chilled.
