Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line muffin tin.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs.
- Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, food coloring, vinegar.
- Fold in dry mixture until just combined.
- Fill liners two-thirds full.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool, then drizzle with cream cheese or glaze.
