Ingredients
  

For the Meat:
  • 1 lb ground beef 85–90% lean
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
For the Seasoning Mix:
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
Optional Garnishes:
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Diced tomatoes

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain grease.
  2. Mix chili powder, paprika, garlic, onion, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir seasoning into beef until coated.
  4. Add water mixed with cornstarch, simmer 5–7 minutes.
  5. Serve in tacos, burritos, or nachos with toppings.
